Why Do These Forwarders Use Wright-Holmes?

Convenience - People use Wright-Holmes as their first choice when forwarding because they know the information they need is at their fingertips. Our “Alpha-Geo” format includes maps, zip code and alphabetically sorted indexes of our listees, a summary of collection laws by state, in short, all the information they need to forward work across the country or around the world.

Reliability - When they forward to a Wright-Holmes listee, they can forward with confidence knowing our attorneys have been carefully screened and qualified and that they are protected by our One Million Dollar fidelity bond provided by Chubb Insurance.

Service - They know they have the support of our experienced service staff should there ever be a breakdown in communications or a question of any kind.

Rates - What Do I Charge?

Contingent Fees - The rate you charge clients who come to you from Wright-Holmes is entirely between you and the client. However, most do expect to be charged on a contingent basis prior to suit. Many firms forward commercial business (i.e. against business debtors), at what were formerly known as CLLA rates, 20% of the first $300, 18% of the next $1700 and 13% above $2000. If suit is necessary (and it usually is), additional charges apply.

Suit Fees - When filing suit the client expects to pay additional fees. A suit fee of 7% to 10% is usually charged in addition to the regular contingent fees. Some or all of this fee is paid in advance and is not contingent with the balance being contingent on collection.

Court Costs - The client advances all costs necessary for suit, filing fees, sheriff’s fees, service of summons, etc.
